Our HERO awards are for people who have lots of HERO cards. We get HERO cards for being a HERO (Healthy Individual, Enthusiastic Learners, Responsible Citizens & Open-Minded Explorers) in class and showing our HERO values. When you get to 100 HERO cards you get a badge which says YMS HERO 100! Angel-Mey and Devran have now got their badges and can wear them every day on their uniform.

Well done to the children who got their awards! We were wondering if you get an award for every 20 HERO cards you earn? At South Hornby School we have 4 values that we call our People Powers (Be There, Make Their Day, Choose Your Attitude and Play). We can earn Hero tickets and certificates if we are spotted showing our People Powers.

Wow congratulations! These awards look incredible. Can you please tell us how long it takes for you to earn an award? We are all really impressed in Room 1 and 2 at HPS. We use a class Dojo point system and once we have 20 points we get to get something out of the treasure box.
