On Friday Miss Clark did a science experiment with us. We had to put mentos into a bottle of coke and look at the reaction.
We also looked at the difference between the diet coke and the full sugar coke because we had been looking at how much sugar was in different drinks. Have a look at our video and see if you can spot the difference. Do you know what is supposed to happen?

ReplyDeleteWhat a great experiment. I like that you used two different types of coke. It made me wonder what would happen if you used a flavoured coke like Vanilla. What do you think?
Unfortunately the video isn't there so I couldn't watch it. I would have loved to have seen it. Maybe this could be fixed.

ReplyDeleteWe liked your post, but unfortunately we couldn't see the video. Some of us have seen videos of Mentos and Coke before on YouTube and we know that when you drop in the Mentos in the Coke it fizzes up and comes out of the bottle. We think that there might have been more fizz when you put the mentos in the sugary coke? We would love to see the video.

Hi Te Māhuri, I really like your coke and mentos experiment. It was like real science and well done to the teacher who risked her clothes. I hope you had fun!
