Japanese Art and Writing in Te Mahuri Tahi


One of our class Paige, is in Japan, before she left she showed us pictures of Japan. We then looked at the art of Hokusai,  a famous Japanese artist and made prints like he did of Mt Fuji. We wrote Haiku to go with them. It was tricky counting the syllables but we think our Haiku are really good.

    Thank you Tuakana, we had fun doing them. It was a bit messy, one of our tables still has blue ink stains on it!
